So much is new and exciting from the American Diabetes Association"s 76th Scientific Sessions in New Orleans...

But of course this just ONE SINGLE YEAR of science, technology, healthcare trends and policy, emerging after decades of history. Diabetes care has come a long way over the course of the last century, and while we"re polishing off our big report on the product advancements we saw this year, we"d like to take this opportunity for a "Wayback Wednesday" reflection on change through the years.

The ADA had these D-history snapshots dating back to the late 1900s on display in the massive NOLA convention center, where roughly 16,200 researchers, doctors, educators, industry folk and patient advocates convened this past week.
